Pace Genealogical Collection
The Pace Genealogical
Collection was founded in 1996 by Mr. John R. Pace of Lexington, NC, a former resident of
Foxboro. It was given in memory of his brother, Joseph W. Pace (1917-1941) who gave his
life at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 while serving on the Battleship USS
Pennsylvania.
The collection is located in the Bluemer Room at
the Boyden Library. It was established to encourage interest in genealogy and as a
center for the study of family history. The Pace collection holdings consist of books
and research materials of genealogical interest.

Pace Collection Hours
The Bluemer Room is open to the public during Library hours. At times, there may be
meetings scheduled for nonprofit organizations in the Bluemer Room. Please call the
